For safety reasons, it’s best this way so they can avoid the times when the sand and temperatures are the hottest. Two very important and non-negotiable rules when taking your dog out at Ocean Isle Beach are 1) Dogs must always be on a leash, and 2) Owners are expected to clean up after them.
